Being a fan-girl: not terribly hard work, really

Watched Boomtown this morning. I miss me my Eccleston. Also, it's interesting to see the evolution of the relationship between the Doctor and Jack between The Doctor Dances and Boomtown. There's a discomfort with Jack until the end of TDD, at which point he comes onto the TARDIS, the Doctor dances with Rose and the dynamic changes. And I think it changes mainly because the Doctor is on his own territory again. Rose is in his arms and Jack's looking on with an expression on his face that suggests he's thinking that he didn't have a chance with Rose after all. By Boomtown, they're Team TARDIS, enjoying the hell out of themselves and the relationships have equalized. Jack and the Doctor are flirting, Rose is entertained and there's a genuine sweetness and affection between them all. Lovely stuff.

Watched Doomsday tonight. Don't know why. I think it was mainly to groove on the angst. Oh that Tennant, with his big dark eyes. Just makes me want to swoon.
