The trouble with the hard parts...
...is that they're hard to write. I've been hammering away at the next part of Treasures of Lost Gallifrey and it's just killing me. I wrote myself into this corner, I know, and I have to write my way out of it to get to the next good/hard bit. Writing this bit will make the next bits juicier and more interesting but, well, um, wow.
One of the things that's come out of all the workshopping and classes I've done is that I have a really hard time writing conflict. This is an old challenge of mine. I avoid it like the plague. (See? Even now, I'm procrastinating, not writing.) I've got to get over that.
And now, um, back to it. Yeah. Right. This is me, heading back to it....
